Our Dahlias

• The dahlias we sell are all fieldgrown at our farm. We grow everything using sustainable methods, never using herbicides or pesticides. We are a very small farm and I inspect each and every dahlia tuber 2 or 3 times to make sure they are in good condition and have at least one eye.

• We have a small nursery license and our tubers have been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and will include a copy of a Certificate of Quarantine Compliance with each shipment.

• Tubers come in all different sizes and shapes, just because it’s small doesn’t mean it won’t grow into a beautiful lush plant.

  Shipping

  Our dahlia tubers will be shipped out sometime in April after the danger of extreme cold has passed.

• Shipping will be a flat rate of $16.00.

• We WILL combine orders if they go to the same address. We are a small farm and this is not a difficult thing to do. If you place two orders, I will refund the extra shipping when orders go out.

• PLEASE NOTE: If you are local, you can choose Free Pick Up when you’re checking out.

• We are not responsible for loss due to improper storage once you get your tubers. Please make sure they do not freeze, and don’t keep them in a tight storage container. I pack the tubers in a paper bag with either vermiculite or peat moss when I ship the tubers out and it’ s a good idea to keep them in a cool place once they’ve arrived, and leave the bag open a bit so they don’t get to damp.

• If you have any issues with your tubers, please send me an email including a photo within 48 hours of delivery. Please do not express dissatisfaction on social media before you have contacted me or any other grower you may have purchased from. Always try to contact us directly. I pride myself in selling quality dahlia tubers and want to know if there are any issues.
